This was a wonderful get-together with friends and former work colleagues, many of whom had visited Belinda in various hospitals while she was undergoing treatment.

She organised the corner suite on the top floor of the Novotel Hotel in Wollongong for the occasion, as it had the perfect aspect overlooking the beach. The room was filled with an incredible energy full of fun, laughter and love as her mates popped in and out all day.

People brought along food and drinks to share or brought refreshments up from the bar downstairs. Di Hickey had made a delicious chocolate mud cake and Belinda enjoyed the very last slice later that evening.

Many folks realised it would be the last time they would be able to see her and spend time with her.  She sadly died just six days later.
